BusinessMarketIQ is a digital marketing and discovery marketplace for business opportunities connected with Iraq. We provide tools for listing, browsing, and private inquiry.

We are not:

Any transaction is solely between the relevant users. You are responsible for independent due diligence, professional advice (legal, tax, financial), and compliance with laws that apply to you.

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction) and capable of forming a binding contract. If you use the Platform on behalf of a company, you represent that you have authority to bind that company.

You must provide accurate registration information and keep it updated. You are responsible for activity under your account and for safeguarding credentials. Notify us promptly of unauthorized access. We may suspend or terminate accounts that appear compromised, inactive, abusive, or non-compliant.

Users may act as buyers, sellers, brokers, or other roles supported by the Platform.

Sellers and brokers are solely responsible for listing content, including titles, descriptions, photos, financial teasers, and any confidential information they choose to share off-platform. Listings are subject to administrative review and may be approved, rejected, unpublished, archived, or required to return to review after material edits.

Published listings may display public teaser information. Certain details may be limited to logged-in users. Seller contact details are not shown publicly; contact is intended through Platform inquiry flows unless users choose otherwise off-platform.

Inquiry messages are provided to facilitate introductions. You agree not to use inquiries for spam, harassment, phishing, or unlawful solicitation. We may monitor or review communications for safety, abuse prevention, and Platform integrity, where permitted by law.

Featured or Spotlight promotions (or similar paid placements), if offered, are billed through Stripe according to the selected plan. Fees are generally non-refundable except where required by law or expressly stated. Promotion does not guarantee leads, sale, or ranking outcomes beyond the placement features described at purchase. You remain responsible for complying with listing rules while promoted.

You agree not to:

The Platform, including software, design, trademarks, and branding, is owned by Thelon Technologies Inc. or its licensors. You receive a limited, non-exclusive, revocable license to use the Platform for its intended purpose.

You retain ownership of content you submit, and you grant Thelon a worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, display, reproduce, and distribute that content as needed to operate and promote the Platform. You represent that you have all rights necessary to grant this license.

Treat non-public business information shared through inquiries or off-Platform discussions with appropriate care. Public listing teasers are visible to Platform visitors or registered users as configured. We are not responsible for how other users use information you choose to disclose.

The Platform may rely on third-party providers (including hosting, authentication, storage, and Stripe payments). Their terms and privacy policies apply to their services. We are not responsible for third-party outages or acts beyond our reasonable control.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THELON DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, WHETHER EXPRESS, IMPLIED, OR STATUTORY, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that listings are complete or accurate, that the Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any business opportunity will result in a transaction.

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, THELON TECHNOLOGIES INC. AND ITS DIRECTORS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF: (A) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO US FOR PLATFORM PROMOTIONS IN THE THREE (3) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM; OR (B) ONE HUNDRED CANADIAN DOLLARS (CAD $100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Thelon Technologies Inc. and its personnel from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your content, your use of the Platform, your transactions with other users, or your breach of these Terms or applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate access, remove content, or refuse service where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law, or enforce these Terms. You may stop using the Platform at any time. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity, and governing law) will survive termination.

We may modify the Platform and these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date and, where appropriate, posting notice on the Platform. Continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance, except where additional consent is required by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Subject to mandatory consumer protections that cannot be waived, the courts of Ontario, Canada shall have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Platform. International users agree that Ontario is an appropriate forum, without prejudice to non-waivable local rights.

You are responsible for complying with local laws in your jurisdiction, including rules on business sales, franchising, investments, advertising, data protection, and taxes. Accessing the Platform from a given country does not mean we are established there or offer regulated brokerage services there.

If any provision of these Terms is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any plan-specific promotion terms presented at checkout, are the entire agreement between you and Thelon regarding the Platform. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a corporate reorganization or sale of assets.
